President's Report
We are looking at dates for the next ASPE NOLA technical meeting. This meeting is most likely going to be virtual.
We have selected the date of May 21, 2021 for this years golf tournament. We will be at Lakewood Golf club. Check out the new website for more details. Registration may be working on the ASPENOLA.COM website. We slowly figuring out how to use it. Let us know if you have any issues.
We will be looking at setting up a scholarship fund in the name of Ollie French. We will have more information available soon.

Calendar of Events

On March 25 at noon CDT, Richard Rossi of Niagara will present the one-hour webinar “Water Savings with Every Flush: Improving Water Conservation in High-Performance Buildings.” This webinar offers 0.1 CEU (1.0 PDH) and is free for ASPE
The 2021 CPD Exam will be held via remote proctor from April 5 - 16.

In response to current chaos, the Women of ASPE (WOA) is presenting a new webinar for ASPE members on March 26 called “Creating Yourself Resilient During Uncertainty.” More info here.

Membership News
ASPE MEMBERS:
We are pleased to announce that ASPE's newest membership initiative starts next Monday. By participating in The Road to San Diego membership drive, you can help your Chapter earn points toward a free registration and hotel room for the 2021 ASPE Tech Symposium in San Diego, which your Chapter can bestow on one lucky member, which may be you!
It's easy to participate and earn points because it's all conducted online via ASPE Connect.

YOUR CHAPTER WILL EARN POINTS FOR:
- A nonmember signing up for the Connect free trial
- A nonmember who signed up for the Connect free trial signing up for ASPE membership
- Number of Chapter members participating on the Open Forum (as a percentage of Chapter membership)
Points will be totaled at the end of every month from March through July. In early August, the Chapter with the most points will be awarded a full 2021 Tech Symposium registration and a hotel room for the length of the event (September 22–26) to award or raffle off to a lucky Chapter member.*

HOW TO CROSS THE FINISH LINE IN FIRST PLACE
- Direct nonmembers to the ad at the top of ASPE Connect to sign up for the free trial. Tell them to include your name or your Chapter's name at the top of the form.
- Visit the Open Forum often to ask design questions or chime in on the lively discussions happening there.
- Encourage your fellow Chapter members to participate on the Open Forum.
- Share posts about The Road to San Diego membership drive on social media. You will be able to find them on ASPE's LinkedIn page, Facebook page, and Twitter account.
- Remind your fellow Chapter members of this opportunity when you get together online or in person.
